Nutrition Counseling:

Through in-person or video chats, we can make a plan to help you achieve your goals! Whether you have questions about eating for a healthier weight, managing choosy eaters at home, confused about the constantly changing nutrition news, we can set priorities, create a plan, review progress, and adapt it all to fit with your health needs.

Medical Nutrition Therapy:

Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) is an evidence-based approach to treating certain chronic health conditions, such as diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and chronic kidney disease, through an individualized nutrition plan. I can help explain the science behind your doctor’s recommendations and make them work for your lifestyle.

Grocery store, farmers market, or Park Slope Food Coop visits:

We can go grocery shopping together, and I can help you decipher food labels, make smarter choices for pantry staples, customize a grocery list, and give ideas for how to use what’s in season. If you’re a PSFC member, we can navigate the crowded aisles of the Coop.

 

Meal Planning:

Are you too busy or tired to cook? Do you dread hearing “What’s for dinner?”every single day? Let’s put together a simple, delicious, menu that can take out so much of the stress of feeding a family. We can work around food allergies, preferences, restrictions, and seasons to create one to four weeks of meals, recipes, and a shopping list to make food enjoyable again.

Group Presentations:

Invite a food and nutrition expert to give a customized talk to your workplace, moms’ group, book club, cooking club, team, preschool, classroom, or PTO. I can tailor a nutrition related talk or demonstration on a variety of topics.
