Hi, I’m Kerry!

Welcome! I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, adventurous home cook, very slow road runner, and mother to three kids with varying degrees of food fussiness. My mission is to help people learn how to make food a fun, delicious part of a healthy lifestyle.

 

Nutrition is a second career for me, following a decade of working for non-profits. When I was a stay-at-home parent to my eldest child, I was constantly searching for accurate, clear information on how to feed my baby, and I discovered a love for nutrition. Several years and two more kids later, I earned a Masters in Public Health degree from Hunter College and have worked with individuals and families all over New York City. My specialty is working with families to demystify healthy eating for kids (and adults) with varying food preferences, health concerns, and schedules. I can help you simplify meal planning, create a simple cache of staple recipes, and generate grocery lists. We can go to your grocery store or browse Fresh Direct together.

My three kids are both my laboratory and my teachers when it comes to trying new foods and new ideas I’m a parent of three kids who have very different food preferences and willingness to try new foods. I have struggled with food choosiness at all different ages with my kids and husband, and I still enjoy cooking for and with them!

When I’m not thinking about food, I love to run, knit, read, and dream about my next vacation – and all of the new foods to explore! Let’s connect!
